According to DCO Dr Naeem Rauf the solar lamps would be given to the brilliant student throughout the province and the first ceremony of the distribution of solar lamps will be held in Bahawalpur.He further said that in the first phase, 862 students of different colleges of Bahawalpur, 411 students from Rahim Yar Khan and 1,106 students from Bahawalnagar will be given solar lamp units.

The Ujala Program by CM does not only include the distribution of solar lamps among students, but it also includes Pension System to retired people and Police force for the ring road.
Now the retired people do not need to stand in queue for a long time to collect pensions. The retired people will be able to get the pension directly from their bank accounts. The new Pension System to be applicable for those people who retire after 1st January 2013.
While the new police department has already been launched by Shahbaz Sharif for safety system of people.
