Pann, Gutka, Niswar and Tobacco lead to oral cancerThe use of Pann, Gutka, Niswar and Tobacco is dangerous for health. The people using Pann are more apt to develop oral (mouth) cancer as compared to non-users. Gutka, Niswar and Tobacco are being used by the majority of people in Pakistan especially in Karachi, where different types of unhygienic, homemade and unpacked Guktas are available. Mostly the young groups make the use of these unhygienic substances and their habit of chewing tobacco, pann, Chahli, Gutka, Niswar and manpuri leads to mouth cancer.
The mouth cancer is on the rise worldwide and it is the second most common disease in Pakistan. The cases of oral cancer in Pakistan are mostly observed in youngsters and 30 percent cases include patient of 40 years.
The oral cancer is avertable,but there is a strong need to make people aware about the side effects of chewing Pann, Gutka, tobacco, etc. Read More
