Health care facilities are rare in rural areas of Pakistan.There is a strong need to develop hospitals and dispensaries in these areas. The government has taken a step to facilitate the people of rural areas and approved a special project for expansion and the addition of telemedicine network. In this regard the second session of the 30th meeting of the Board of Directors of Universal Service Fund
(USF) was held in PM house and chaired by Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf.
USF has done a great work in this connection.
The meeting was informed that health care in cardiology, dermatology, pathology, ENT, radiology and gynecology were already being provided through this project. Read More
