Islamabad High Court has rejected the interim bail extension Plea of Pakistan’s former president Pervez Musharraf and ordered his immediate arrest.Pervez
Musharraf, accompanied by his guards, had appeared before court to look
for an extension in his bail, but the court by dismissing his plea
order his arrest. Musharraf was immediately run away from the Islamabad High Court complex by his bodyguards at unknown place.
Some reports said that Musharraf will now be confined to his home, technically under house arrest, after the cancellation of his bail extension plea.
In the meantime, Musharraf’s close associate Raza Bokhari also denied that he fled from the court premises to avoid arrest.
