Cyber Scandal: PIA lost E-Tickets of $ 7 Lac. A report by Dunya News revealed that the E-Tickets worth $ 7 Lac were stolen by various people and Air Travel Agents through Pakistan International Airline (PIA) website. This cyber Scandal has now been confirmed by the officials. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is already in the loss and the website made for E-Ticketing included numerous flaws which led to individuals and Travel Agents tosteal free reservation of 5757 air travel tickets for all sorts of destinations across the globe. This cyber crime was on the go more than a year and just recently PIA administration found out the flaw in their website.
The PIA Authorities said that the e-ticketing system was shut down and they are trying to recover the money and they have recovered 100,000 USD, but still 600,000 USD to be recovered.
