LG Optimus Vu 3 Vs. Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Recently,
Samsung announced that the arrival of its cheap Galaxy Note 3. It is expected
that the upcoming LG Optimus Vu 3 Smartphone will be cheaper than the Galaxy
Note 3. The
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a 5.7-inch 1080p
screen display, 13 megapixel camera with 4K Ultra HD video and SnapDragon 800
or Octa-core Exynos processor and an iconic stylus or S-pen. It runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) operating system. Other features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 are microUSB
2.0, USB-OTG, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Infra-red, dual-band Wi-Fi and LTE
capabilities. Under the removable back cover is a 3200mAh battery. There is
32GB or 64GB of inbuilt storage depending on the variant. There is a MicroSD
card slot too.
The dimensions of the Galaxy Note 3 are
about 8.33 mm and weighs 168grams. While the LG Optimus Vu 3 features a 5.2 inch display with 1280 x 960 pixels (4:3 aspect ratio), a special stylus, LTE-Advanced connectivity, quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 13MP rear camera, and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
Alas, there is no information available on the other hardware specifications of the device and no image is available of right now, but the smartphone is rumored to feature a similar design to that of its predecessor LG Vu 2 (picture above). The expected release date of the LG Optimus Vu 3 is the end of September. Samsung is also scheduled to launch the Galaxy Note 3 0n 23rd September in Korea as well in other markets.
The reports said that the LG Optimus Vu 3 will contains the price tag of $740 or 800,000 KRW in South Korea while the Galaxy Note 3 cost $924 or 1,000,000 KRW.
It remains to be seen if LG manages to announce the Vu 3 before that day or how the LG Vu 3 will be able to compete with all the rival phablets entering the market that seem to have similar specs, like the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
