Samsung has introduced a new dual SIM Android smartphone dubbed the Galaxy
Trend 3 the successor to the Galaxy Trend II that was released back in April. The
new Samsung Galaxy Trend 3 is a budget friendly handset which offers stunning
features. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and supports a a
dual-core 1.2GHz processor. The Galaxy Trend 3 has a 4.3 inch screen display
with 800 x 480 pixels of resolution, a 3-megapixel rear camera with no flash, MicroSD
card support Bluetooth, WI-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Micro-USB, 3G and a 1,800 mAh battery.
It does not come with NFC or LTE support.
The dimensions of the Galaxy Trend 3 are 129.7x66.95x9.4mm and weighs 128
grams. Available in three colour
variants including Black, Powder Pink,
and White the Galaxy Trend 3 come with preloaded apps, including Samsung's App
store and ChatON instant messenger.
The Galaxy Trend 3 has been launched in China in white color option, though
the company has not disclosed the pricing and availability details of the device.
However, there is also no word on the roll out of the device to other markets. It
is expected that the Samsung ill bring the device in other countries as well
because the Galaxy Trend 2 available in China has recently hit the Indian market.
The Samsung China’s official website is showing four models (G3502U – unlocked,
G3502 – for China Unicom, G3508 – for China Mobile, and G3509 – for China
Telecom), but the device do not seem to different spec-wise.
