Sony officially launched its Android powered Walkman F886 music player



Sony officially launched its Android powered Walkman F886 music player. Sony has officially launched the successor of F800 music player, dubbed as a Walkman F880 music player. Sony showcased the Walkman F880 at the IFA event 2013 in Berlin. The new music device from Sony is very impressive and specially designed for music lovers. It includes improved and stunning features and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system. The Walkman F886 lets users enjoy high-quality music, share it with friends. The Walkman F880 music player features a 4-inch FWVGA Triluminos display,a 32GB internal storage, NFC and Bluetooth. Having NFC capability the F880 can easily connect with any Sony NFC enabled headphones and external speakers with just a single tap. It is and WiFi enabled device that lets users to have access to hundreds of games and apps on Google Play Store.The new Sony F886 also include latest S-Master HX digital amplifier delivering an audio quality of 192 Khz/24 bit, six times more than CD quality audio, that helps to push High-resolution audio with significantly low distortion and noise at all frequency ranges.

Its battery has enough power and last for up to 35 hours of MP3 playback or 26 hours of Hi-Res audio.
Already available for pre-order in selected European countries the Walkman F886 music player for 329 euros or 249 pounds (in UK).


The Sony Walkman F886 music player is expected to be available sometime in October.
Sony has also showcased its camera centric Xperia Z1 and QX100, Qx10 lens for smartphones at IFA 2013 along with Sony Walkman F886.
