Etihad Airways Wins Best Emerging Airline Award in Pakistan
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has been named the best emerging airline in 2013 at the fourth Global CEOs Excellence Awards ceremony held in Karachi, Pakistan. The award was presented to Amer Khan, Etihad Airways' Area General Manager for Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and the Maldives, at the awards ceremony held as part of the Global Business Leadership Summit.
The win acknowledges Etihad Airways’ commitment to delivering exceptional quality service and catering to travellers to and from Pakistan.

The Global CEOs Excellence Awards are held annually by Global Media Links and Better Pakistan Forum and this year saw the participation of 75 national and international companies.
Etihad Airways started flights to Pakistan in 2003 and currently offers 31 weekly flights from four destinations in Pakistan which, include Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar.
