Google Nexus 8, Specifications and Availability. We told you yesterday that the Google is planning to launch the Nexus 8 tablet. The new Nexus 8 will feature an 8 inch touch screen display, an Intel’s Bay Trail-T processor. The company will include its latest Android KitKat operating system in the tablet. The tablet is being developed by the Taiwanese manufacturer Asus. The company Asus has also made the first and second generation Nexus 7 tablets.  

The Nexus 8 tablet will be available at a reasonable price in the mid of 2014.

Intel intros 10.1 inch Education Tablet. Intel has introduced the company’s first Android powered Education tablet. The 10.1 inch tablet includes a bunch of educational material for students. The tab also features some tools for teachers for the e-learning classrooms. The Education tablet includes Intel Education Software which offers learning, communication, collaboration, problem solving, critical thinking and literary skills.

The new tablet features a 10.1 inch display with IP52 rating for water and dust resistance. It is powered by the 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor and runs on the Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system.

It includes a 5 megapixels rear facing camera and a 1.2 megapixels front facing camera. it also has a 1 GB of RAM and an 8 to 32 GB of inbuilt storage capacity. Other features are MicroSD card, WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, NFC (Optional), Micro HDMI, GPS. Its battery offer 12 hours of continuous usage.

Huawei intros MediaPad 7 Youth 2 Tablet. Huawei has launched the MediaPad 7 Youth 2 the successor of MediPad Youth, which the company launched last year. The new Youth 2 tablet features a 7 inch display with 1024 x 600 pixels or resolution. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor and runs on the new Android 4.3 Jelly bean operating system with Huawei’s Emotion UI.

The MediaPad 7 Youth 2 tablet includes a 1 GB RAM and 4 GB of expandable storage. It has a 3 megapixel rare facing and a VGA front facing cameras.

Unlike its rivals the Youth 2 tablet also supports 2G and 3G calls. It includes a 4,100 mAh battery.
