Mega Millions Increases jackpot Money From $400 to $550 million. We reported you earlier that the MegaMillions has increased the Jackpot money to $400 million for the 13^th December lottery. Now the officials of Mega Millions have once again increased the Jackpot money which is now $550 million. The office has taken this decision because no one bought the winning ticket in  in Friday night's drawing.
Now you can win the $550 million jackpot money on the  Tuesday drawings which is on 17^th December. It is the second largest prize money by the Mega Millions and the fifth huge lottery money in the US history. If anybody wins the Jackpot money he/she would not get 30 annual payments of its prize rather he/she will get the net cash option of $295 million.
It may be recalled that no one has won the jackpot prize money in the last two months and that the reason behind the increase of Jackpot money.
Mega Millions has also raised the  prize money from $400 millions to $450 million for the Friday’s drawings by keeping in view the strong sale of lottery tickets. The official increased the prize amount just 112  hours before the  drawing.
We told you earlier that the people believed that the Friday is the bad luck day. That could be the reason behind no winning ticket sold for Friday’s Drawings.
