Microsoft to launch Rival to Apple’s Siri. The rumor said that the tech giant Microsoft is soon going to launch the ‘Cortana’ the rival to Apple’s Siri. The rumors said that the company will officially reveal the voice-activated OS in beta form for developers on Lumia devices in April.
The company has derived the name Cortana for its most popular Halo video game series.
Later on, it will move to Apple’s iPhone via Bing app. It is also said that Microsoft will include this Cortana OS to its Xbox one and then to upcoming Windows9 “Threshold” (scheduled to arrive in 2015).
The Microsoft Cortana will initially available in the United State only. It will also hit the other territories may be in 2015 or 16.
