Samsung Releases Smart TV SDK 5.0 to the Developer Community

The SDK 5.0 will allow consumers to control their home appliances from any Samsung Smart TV. With the new SDK enabling easier and faster app development, Samsung will help expand the Smart TV app ecosystem. Samsung Electronics today introduced the Smart TV Software Development Kit (SDK) 5.0, which will provide developers with the tools they need to build applications for the Smart TV platform.

Samsung’s new Smart TV SDK has expanded available platforms for easier app development and its functions have been dramatically improved to enhance apps’ usability and performance. The SDK 5.0 is compatible with more devices than its predecessor and will enable consumers to control their home appliances – including lighting, air-conditioning and refrigerators – by using Samsung’s Smart TV application.

Samsung to sell World’s largest 110-inch Ultra HDTV Today. Samsung is all set to sell the world’s largest 110-inch Ultra HDTV today. The HDTV will first debut in China, the Middle East and European countries. There are no details available regarding the price of 110-inch Ultra HDTV. Earlier the Korean Company has launched the 85-inch model of the TV with the price tag of $40K.

The Ultra HDTV by Samsung physically measures 2.6-meters by 1.8-meters. It will hit the 9 other markets in the few weeks. The company will unveil the TV in the international CES in 2014.

Aamna Shariff ties the Nuptial Knot. Famous actress Aamna Shariff got married to a popular film distributor-turned-producer Amit Kapoor, who is the son of producers Lalit and Sabnam Kapoor. Aamna who rose to fame with a Star Plus drama serial Kahiin To Hoga got married on Friday. Amit was her long time boyfriend and fiancé.

The reception ceremony of recently married couple took place in Mumbai on Saturday. A number of glittering stars of Bollywood and TV celebrities were present on the occasion.

Actor Farooq Sheikh to be buried today. We reported you two days ago that the veteran actor Farooq Sheik passed away in Dubai following heart attack. His family said that his body would bring to India for his final rites. He will be buried today evening on 30^th December. He died on 27^th December at the age of 65. The close friend of the actor Satish Shah said,

"His body will reach Mumbai airport at around 4 pm on Monday (December 30), and the burial will take place around 7 pm in the evening."

The Chashme Baddoor actor is survived by his wife and two daughters. He started his career in 1973 with the movie “Garam Hawa” and almost spent 40 years in Bollywood.

Samsung Plans to launch Galaxy Note 3 Lite in 2014.There are a number of rumors that claimed that the Samsung has a plan to launch the Galaxy Note 3 Lite smartphone by the end of the 1^st Quarter of 2014. It will be the lower version of the Note series of the company. The rumors said that the Galaxy Note 3 Lite handset will feature the 5.5 or 5.7 inches of LCD display. It is said that the Korean mobile manufacturer company is already testing both of the sizes.

The rumor source SamMobile’s twitter revealed that the LTE version of the handset will call as the N7505. There are no more details available regarding the features and specs of the upcoming smartphone.

The actor of “ Chashme Baddoor” was last appeared in the movies "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" and “club 60” . He settled in Dubai with his family while his dead body will bring to India for final rituals. He started his career in 1973 with the movie “Garam Hawa” and almost spent 40 years in Bollywood. His biggest hits were Chashme Baddoor, Umrao Jaan and Kissi Se Na Kehna.
At the time of death he was 65 years old. All the Bollywood industry and fans of Farooq Sheik are in shock.

Harry Potter Play to Hit Stage World. The Harry Potter Play is now to be acted on the Stage. The writer J.K. Rowling said that she is to present a play to be acted on the stage. The play will feature the early life of Harry who later on attended the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft.
To accomplish this project the author Rowling has made collaboration with award-winning British theater producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender.
She said that in the stage play she will reveal the story of Harry's early years as an orphan and an outcast. In a statement Rowling said that she herself will not pen the story rather she will collaborate with writers.She said that she has received innumerable suggestions to turn the Harry Potter in a stage play but only the vision of Sonia and Colin's vision which has inspired her to turn it in a theatrical play.

Dhoom 3 to hit Imax Screens: Coming to U.S this weekend. After hitting Indian and Pakistani Cinemas the much awaited biggest hit Dhoom 3 is all sent to hit North America this weekend. The film will be headed to Imax screens and the exhibitor debuts it in 13 territories. After hitting the Imax screens in the U.S., U.K. Malaysia, Dubai, Kuwait, Netherlands, India, Canada, Pakistan,Australia and Qatar, the film will go on for screening in New Zealand and South Africa on 27^th December, in Hong Kong and Singapore on 2^nd January.

Dhoom 3 is the third installment of the Dhoom series and the most-awaited film of the year 2013 because for the first time Amir Khan to play the negative role in it. The story of the movie is written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra. The story revolves around a circus boy named Sahir (Amir Khan), whose father (Jackie Sharoff) was murdered by circus owners.
