Brad Pitt, a well known and a heartthrob actor, has done a number of films and three times nominated for the Oscar awards but he was not lucky enough to grab one. It’s strange that the highest paid actor of Hollywood remains ignored by the Academy.

In the case of Richard Gere, an actor and humanitarian, the reason is obvious. He is a Buddhist convert and a staunch supporter of the Dalai Lama. He was banned to enter into the Oscar stage 20years ago when he talked against the Chinese government. He was also banned by China to enter into the country. 

Johnny Depp has also done a number of films which hit the box office, but its strange why the A-list actor is successful to win the Academy Award. Like Brad Pitt he was nominated for the Oscar thrice but was not lucky enough to win one.

 Tome Cruise the stunning a heartthrob actor, who is highest paid Hollywood star, remains unsuccessful to win Oscar. His career spans for three decades in the Hollywood industry because of Mission Impossible series. He has been voted again and again for the world’s 50 most beautiful personalities and nominated thrice for the Academy Award but never won a one.

Leonardo DiCaprio, a smart actor and producer, also included in the list of five actors who never won an Oscar. Titanic star has been nominated thrice for the Golden statue, but not grabbed a one.

It's really strange why the most influential and popular Hollywood actors haven't gotten a single Oscar?
