Glendora Wildfire burns homes and destroys 1,700 acres
Glendora Wildfire burns homes and destroys 1,700 acres. A fast-moving wildfire burning in the foothills above Glendora and Azusa has burned a number of homes and reached above 1,700 acres. The fire erupted around 5:50 a.m. on Thursday in the Angeles National Forest near Glendora Mountain Road and Colby Way and sent a smoky pall over much of the Los Angeles Basin.
The city of Glendora has confirmed a state of emergency.
