Glendora Wildfire burns homes and destroys 1,700 acres
Glendora Wildfire burns homes and destroys 1,700 acres. A fast-moving wildfire burning in the foothills above Glendora and Azusa has burned a number of homes and reached above 1,700 acres. The fire erupted around 5:50 a.m. on Thursday in the Angeles National Forest near Glendora Mountain Road and Colby Way and sent a smoky pall over much of the Los Angeles Basin.
The city of Glendora has confirmed a state of emergency.

Earthquake Jolts Inland Empire. According to the U.S Geological survey the 4.4 magnitude earthquake jolted the Inland Empire. The quake occurred at 1:35 a.m. at a depth of 3.2 miles, however, no injuries or major damage were reported.
