Oscar Nominations: '12 Years a Slave' tops in 9
categories. The
famous pre-civil war drama '12 Years a Slave' has topped the 9 nominations in
all major categories at the Oscar Academy Awards 2014. In the best actor category
the actor Chiwetel Ejiofor will compete with nominees like Tom Hanks, Leonardo
Di Caprio and Christian Bale while for the best actress award the actress Lupita
Nyong'o will try to win against the nominees.
For
the Best supporting actor Michael Fassebender has been nominated while SteveMcQueen has been chosen for the Best Director category. Academy President
Cheryl Boone-Isaacs and Chris Hemsworth declared the Academy Award Nominations
