Skype Video messaging feature starts to roll out for Windows Phone 8

Microsoft has rolled out a new update Skype 2.10 for Windows Phone 8. The latest update carries  various substantive changes, including the previously missing Video messaging. Skype Video Messaging is easy and convenient feature, which allows users to record a video message and send it to their Skype contacts absolutely free. Microsoft has also dealt with some bug fixes and made it easier to access your settings from the home screen. For using Video messaging users needs to simply open up a conversation in Skype and tap the appropriate option to record a video message. Once your contact has received a video message from you, they can answer back with a video right away. Microsoft stated in an official blog post,

"We’re excited to announce Video Messaging is now available to Windows Phone 8 users in the Skype for Windows Phone 8 update released today. The launch of Video Messaging on Windows Phone 8 marks another step forward in Skype’s Mobile Future journey to bring great Skype experiences across devices.”

Previously available for IOS, Mac,Blackberry and Android platforms the Skype Video Messaging feature now finally hit the Windows Phone 8. Earlier, Windows Phone 8 users were only able to view Video messages, but now they can also record and send them for free.
