Microsoft starts offering overseas data Storage
Microsoft starts offering overseas data Storage. The tech giant, Microsoft has reportedly started offering the customers in the foreign countries to store their data outside the United State. The company has announced this plan in response to the concern of NAS data, which was using Microsoft networks to surveil citizens of Brazil and the European Union. Thus, Microsoft is the only major company providing clearly non-US data storage, despite the fact that the agency has broken into the private networks of both Google and Yahoo. On the other hand, this step needs extra protection because there is no guarantee that the NSA will not be able to reach the servers outside the US.
