Intel intros 10.1 inch Education Tablet. Intel has introduced the company’s first Android powered Education tablet. The 10.1 inch tablet includes a bunch of educational material for students. The tab also features some tools for teachers for the e-learning classrooms. The Education tablet includes Intel Education Software which offers learning, communication, collaboration, problem solving, critical thinking and literary skills.

The new tablet features a 10.1 inch display with IP52 rating for water and dust resistance. It is powered by the 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor and runs on the Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system.

It includes a 5 megapixels rear facing camera and a 1.2 megapixels front facing camera. it also has a 1 GB of RAM and an 8 to 32 GB of inbuilt storage capacity. Other features are MicroSD card, WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, NFC (Optional), Micro HDMI, GPS. Its battery offer 12 hours of continuous usage.

The bundle offer includes Active stylus, Snap-on magnification lens and Plug-in thermal probe for experiments that plugs into the tablet’s audio jack.
