SMS Craze fades in UK
SMS Craze fades in UK. It is for the first time in the history of the UK that the people showed low interest in SMS. The change comes due to the number of text application, including whatsapp, iMessage, BBM, Snapchat,etc. present in the Smartphones. The number of text messages fell for the  first time since its arrival in 1992 in Britian. Beside the above mentioned application Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus also attributed a lot in fall of text  messages.
The figures from Deloitte shows that in 2013, the smartphone users in the country just sent 7 billion fewer text messages  than in 2012. The reports claimed that the use of SMS will further fall in the United Kingdom in 2014.

The use of text messaging fell to 145 billion, while above 160 billion instant messages were sent in Britain last year.
